So how did I get here?

Art has always had a place in my heart. My fascination grew during a mesmerizing visit to the Tate London gallery as a teenager – it was like love at first sight with abstract, modern, and impressionistic pieces. I wanted to stay there forever, soaking in every brushstroke and emotion.

Yet, a cloud of doubt loomed. I believed in the myth that art was a gift for a chosen few, not for someone like me. So I settled for an office job, like many of us do. 

It wasn’t till I was in my twenties that my love for art was reignited. Seeing artist’s on Instagram, in their element, living their passion. I couldn't shake the feeling that I had a similar fire burning inside me. So, I picked up that brush and started my journey. 

Ever heard of "fake it till you make it"? That was my mantra. There were more "oops" moments than masterpieces, believe me! But guess what? These "failures" weren't setbacks – they were the stepping stones to growth!

In time, I realized that art wasn't about perfection; it was a therapeutic sanctuary that held the power to heal.

After sharing my paintings on social media, I began to make tutorials to inspire others to give painting a go too. 

Here's what makes my journey unique to other beginners: I'm not your traditional art tutor. I never attended prestigious art schools, but I discovered a unique process to start creating the art you imagine. What might have seemed like a disadvantage actually became my strength.

My art evolved from total amateur to selling hundreds of paintings worldwide, and I believe everyone deserves that transformative journey.

Let me drop some truth bombs – tutorials are cool, but they won't get you to true artistic freedom. It’s not just about techniques and colour mixing; it's about your unique spark. The idea, the vision – that's where the real art lives. It's all about nurturing your creative independence.
